The regular annual meeting of the CTIF International Youth Leaders Commssion was held in Liverpool, UK, from 14 to 16 November 2025, with a total of 34 participants from 18 CTIF member countries.
Nedeljko Vukalović, one of the CTIF Vice Presidents, also attended.
The meeting was opened and led by Jörn Hendrik Kuinke, president of this commission, and hosted by Paul Ratcliffe, the representative of Great Britain on this CTIF commission, and the leader of the youth firefighters in Great Britain.

After introductory greetings, the chairman, Mr. Kuinke, submitted a short report on the work and activities of this commission, which have been carried out since the last meeting in May this year in Sofia, Bulgaria, and after him, the vice-president of CTIF, Nedeljko Vukalović, also greeted all those present and informed them of the news in CTIF.
Then, representatives of the Czech Firefighters' Association presented the preparations for the upcoming gathering and international competition of the CTIF youth firefighters, which will be held in the Czech city of Šumperk from 13 to 18 July next year.
Information was also shared about the holding of the international firefighting competition, which will be held in the Austrian city of Eisenstadt from 22 to 26 July, and about the international sports firefighting competition, which will be held in Ostrava, Czech Republic from 19 to 23 July next year.
A report was submitted on the education and training of firefighting judges, which was held in October in Linz, Austria, and a report on the Youth Firefighters Symposium, which was held in May in Sofia, Bulgaria.
In the second part of the meeting, the Rules of Procedure of this commission were discussed, and the elections for new officials of the International Committee for Youth Leaders of the CTIF were announced, which should be held in the spring of next year, and all members of this Commission, as well as national firefighting associations of all CTIF members, were invited to propose their candidates for individual positions on this committee in the near future.
The next meeting of the CTIF International Youth Leaders Commission will be held in April 2026, in Bern, Switzerland.
