"100 Cities – 100 Years Evaluation of Urban Fire Risks" - A milestone for fire statistics globally

en

On behalf of the CTIF Fire Statistics Centre, the editors of these books recognize the importance of international and transnational cooperation. The publication "100 Cities – 100 Years Evaluation of Urban Fire Risks" highlights the history and efforts of 167 cities worldwide.

There are over 50 contributors to these books, and they have been edited by Dr. Ing. Peter Wagner and Prof. Dr. Sergei Sokolov from the CTIF Center for Fire Statistics.

This marks a historic milestone — not only in CTIF's over 100-year history but also as a globally significant event, bringing together so many cities in one publication. The fire brigades from these cities exemplify humanity, a spirit of helping others, and a willingness to sacrifice for their communities, regardless of politics, religion, or culture.

This publication will help visualize and deepen understanding of the complex relationships in fire protection and serve as a legacy for future generations.
